"Uncle Andy Check In" is a service I am providing that sends you an email to allow you to "check in" that everything is OK.
If you forget to, or are unable to check in, your emergency contacts will be alerted after a period of time.
As someone who lives alone with his cat, I want to be sure that the cat is fed and the litter box cleaned if something unfortunate happens to me.
Since I built this for myself already, I thought I would open this facility up to others who may have similar desires. Owning a cat is not a requirement even though cats are great.
I am currently limiting access to this service to 25 subscribers including myself. That way I can operate this without incurring additional costs. Depending on how it goes, I may increase that number.

This service does expect that you will have routine access to your email accounts and that also you emergency contacts do as well.
If you can't be confident that you will be able to receive and respond to check-in emails, please use something else.
If you are going away for a while, there is a "suspend" feature on your check in subscriptions that you can use to turn the subscription off.
Subscribers and their emergency contacts are required to recognize that Andrew Butchart / A. Butchart Consulting bears no liability in any failure of this service to operate as expected.
